The Today page lists every Form 4 purchase (P) and sale (S) filed with the SEC EDGAR system in the last 24 hours, including 10b5-1 plan executions and other pre-arranged trades that share the P/S codes. Each row links back to the original filing on sec.gov.

The page is rebuilt hourly from the public SEC EDGAR Form 4 RSS feed. The "Data as of" timestamp at the top of the page shows the exact build time.

Why are option exercises and stock awards not shown?

Tracefour displays Form 4 purchases (P) and sales (S) only, including 10b5-1 plan executions and other pre-arranged trades that share the P/S codes. The non-directional codes (awards (A), option exercises (M), conversions (C), tax-withholding sales on RSU vests (F), gifts (G), dispositions to issuer (D), inheritance (W), and other (J)) are excluded because they are mechanical filings, not discretionary trades.

What does the price chart on the Today page show?

Accepted Answer

For each ticker with a filing today the chart shows recent daily closing prices, sourced from Yahoo Finance, with dots marking that ticker's featured insider's prior P/S transactions plus the filing made today. Hovering a dot reveals the insider, role, direction, and value.
